TERN, THE BIRD

Birds are an amazing creation of god. Flying high in open air limitlessly with the whole world below us could be the best experience ever. And what better bird than the Arctic Tern which travels across the globe from the Arctic to the Antarctica, i.e., from the North Pole to the South Pole. So here comes the true inspiration of our company. We give you the same experience, the same happiness and the same exclusivity.

What makes this bird achieve this extraordinary feat? Its high metabolic rate, specially shaped wings, and nesting with other birds for protection help it a great deal. It has a unique dive bombing capability to catch fish and protect its young ones by jabbing predators. Arctic Tern covers over 90,000 km annually migrating across the globe at 35 to 40 km/hr, summing up to around 2.4 million km in its entire lifetime, which is the highest for any bird. They mostly glide and hover.

Tern Voyages Pvt Ltd [a tourism boutique company] was launched in Chennai on 23 December 2018. It specializes in bespoke international holidays for niche clients, fixed group departures to exotic destinations for enthusiasts, educational trips for school and college students and film location management. The company is owned by Mr. Manoj Dass and Mrs. Sneha, both travel experts turned entrepreneurs, who share an intense passion for travel and exploration. Mr. Dass, with a significant experience of over 20 years in the Travel industry, huge network across the globe and strong rapport with the travel industry worldwide, is set to create a new benchmark for the Travel industry in Chennai and worldwide.
